We enjoyed the visit. The museum is small, but with a nice collection of items brought up from ship wrecks. Worth the visit. Something to do for free!

Cute little museum tucked away in the main part of Puerto Aventuras. There isn't a whole lot of advertising or signage so it's easy to miss. It's a small place, upstairs (no handicap access), and there is usually no one there besides the one person...More

This has a nice collection of ship wreck and excavation artifacts. And its Free! It does not take long to go through, its worth a stop.

Nice little museum with lots of shipwreck and dive related artifacts. I would suggest maybe 30 minutes and would interest most people, if you have kids who like pirates this is a good way to learn and see some genuine history

Found this museum by a happy accident. It was free and we spent about an hour inside. They take donations and were very nice.
