I’ve never been in a distillery before and I was amazed to see the way they did whiskey back in the 1750’s . Even my husband that doesn’t drink loved the tour. Nicest Irish coffee I ever tried.

Off the beaten path along the River Brosna, Kilbeggan distillery has character and a great story to tell! I love wandering through the old distillery equipment and hearing the sound of the waterwheel from inside the building. If you're interested in taking a step back...More

Had an opportunity to take the Kilbeggan Distillery tour and would highly recommend it. Tour shows you a historical perspective on the old process using a water wheel for power along with the process actually being used today. The tasting room is an excellent way...More

In comparison to other distillery tours, we found this tour quite short. It was good to see the old and the new brewery, but the information provided was a little brief. If you're in the Midlands for just one day, visit Tullamore instead of Kilbeggan....More

Heard a ru.our that this will be closing soon. Big pity as Kilbeggan has no other restaurant. A good solid Irish feed is available here. Always love their bacon and cabbage. The scones are a little pricey but generally good valueMore

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we understand that it is unfortunate that the Pantry restaurant next door is closing. The current tenants have decided not to renew their contract but we will do our best to keep interested parties informed...More
Great historical tour of distillery. Tour is filled with fascinating details about the ingenuity of the old process at the distillery and the use of the water wheel. Unfortunately we where there on a rare day off for the current distiller so we were not...More
