Beach was nice, meal served was surprisingly good, tasty. Drinks were expensive 70 each, and you could not taste any alcohol at all. They guilt you into leaving a bigger tip saying they only get paid with tips nothing else. But still a good experience.

Las Gatas is a nice peaceful place to spend the day. The water is calm, and there are not too many beach vendors. Parked ourselves at Otilia's, and were entertained by the host, Franco. The food isn't great, but Franco is very entertaining.

You have to take the ferry over but once there your chaise lounge chairs await while a waiter from the restaurant behind you brings you drinks and dinner. A fun day

It sounded better than it was. It was described as a "reef". It was more like a rock break. The snorkelling was ok, nothing note worthy tho. We took the bus there & brought our own lunch from our hotel so the price was right...More
