Marina Ixtapa Golf Club is a Robert Von Hagge designed links style track which opened in January, 1994. It is characterized by narrow fairways bordered by numerous dunes of grass, large traps guarding undulating greens and water on 14 of the 18 holes.The course is a challenging yet fair experience with 4 sets of tees to accommodate all ranges of experience and abilities. The staff is friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable.The Marina Ixtapa Golf Club is open from 7 am until dusk 365 days per year.

Puckco the caddie looked after us really well. The golf course at one time must have been great. Since the hurricane no one has fixed the damage done still had a good round with friends. Some money and maintenance would make this a great course...More

Horrible condition. Bridges falling apart. No brakes except the stop break on the rickety old golf cart. Lots of dead areas with no grass. Cost was 1,050 pesos - more than the Robert Trent Jones course at Palma Real which is in much better shape....More

I love playing this golf course by Robert Trent Jones. Challenging, great greens, nice fariways, and beautiful views. The grain of the greens will be a factor in putting! The sand traps need some attention, but otherwise a great experience. Enjoy the nice folks working...More

Nice layout some challenging holes. Definitely play early morning as it got very hot in the afternoon. The staff was friendly and helpful.
