Most of the length of the Playa Quieta is taken by Club Med resort, though the beach is public. The ocean has some waves in January, that though not so big, quite strong for kids. The water temperature was very warm during the summer.

An ideal spot to expect a few hours enjoing either sun or shade. Food and drinks are OK. Prices are ok, not cheap not expensive.

This is primarily Club Med and a few other private condo type buildings. Nice walk - clean and relatively quiet.

Clean sand and fun waves to play in. No load music and no too many people. I was worried that the sea may be cold but no way. The sea was like a hot bath. Pure joy to relax and swim on this beach.

Beautiful walk down Playa Quieta beach. Nice little restaurant to stop for food / drinks on your way down. Make sure to go here at least one evening around 6:45 p.m. for the beautiful sunset.

This is a small beach bordering the property of Club Med. It is very quiet, very few vendors, and the water is usually calm. It is really lovely.

Beaches are shorter than some (e.g. Nyarit Vallarta) but are still very nice. Warm water with some sandy stretches ; can be rough at times but is swim able. Not really a snorkelling beach
