The perfect beach to walk on (once you get past the hot dry sand). The water is good to play in the waves and you must get a massage(hut #6 Teresa was the best 200 pesos for an hour!). A new sunset everyday to watch.

Playa el Palmer is lovely for early morning or sunset strolls, approx 2.5 kms of beautiful soft sand, which heats up drastically throughout the day, in the afternoon wear your flipflops! My sister and I bought silver brcelets from a vendor, so beautiful and reasonable, we wish we had bought a few more. The massage lasies are so worth the... More

We stayed at a condo on this beach. Not many places open to the public, but the beach is nice for walking. Some vendors but not too many. Great sunsets. Parasailing $20 US and jet skiing $30. One vendor sells fresh oysters around 4pm each day.

Of all the beaches in the Barra to Playa Linda corridor, this is the most disappointing. Hard to access with all the high rise AIs lining the waterfront. Pretty much zero on the scale of 'does this place have a soul'. And without a wrist band, you really stick out.

Beautiful beach for walks and watching the sunset. The waves are pretty rough, so I wouldn't brave the water if you're not a strong swimmer. There are reasonably priced activities like parasailing, jet skiing and banana boats available.

Love this clean beach. So many activites to entertain while you are exploring this Hotel Zone. No vendors to distract you from enjoying Ixtapa at it's finest.

Entire beach is verrrrry clean. Excellent soft sand. I believe it's about 10,000 steps from end to end. Is that about 5 miles? The water is 'soft' the waves at end of January were quite gentle. The water was a beautiful color. I enjoyed the water every day. Unlike our experience in Los Cabos even at the 'safest' swimming beach... More

This area was pretty much what we expected: a lovely beach, yes, but red flags up and we did see either a few cautious swimmers or a couple of people gasping as they fled the surf! Huge, towering all inclusives dot the beach and there is really one or two public places to eat. Otherwise you need to be staying... More
