Every mile of this 4 hour trip was a picture post card! The road is very good, and thinly trafficked. The lake district extends nearly to Thunder Bay. There are very few service or support/food/restroom stops and you should fill your gas tank, visit the restroom, and pack a picnic lunch. There are a few beautiful picnic spots. The speed... More

While visiting Dundas Ont on the weekend I was happy to have my first bike this season on the Trans Canada Trail running through Dundas Ontario. Despite the bit of snow I biked a section running from the shoppers drug Mart through the conservation area. I saw deer, lovely scenery, some walkers and a few other bikers. I want to... More

The Trans Canada Bike trail on the west coast of Cape Breton runs for 52 miles from Port Hastings in the south to Inverness in the north. You actually have to get on the southern end at Troy off Route 19 N. The trail before that in Port Hastings has washed out. The trail is AWESOME with cinder and crushed... More

I have done the trail between St Tite Des Caps and Anse Aux Vaches a couple of times. St Tite Des Caps is about an hour from Quebec city - the trail begins at St Tite Des Caps. St Tite Des Caps is connected by public transport from Quebec city. Of course, Trans Canada trails stretches across Canada but this... More

I have been on the T.C.T. in Brantford, Simcoe and Tillsonburg Ont. and I can't express how grateful we should all be for such a magnificent trail system. While some sections are more visually attractive than others they all offer pleasure to lovers of nature. I recently walked the section in Tillsonburg from Bridge St. through to Baldwin St. I... I had a deal with a cheap sit up, but some other travellers had free sleeping bunk and free food at less than I paid.... More
