We spent the day with Maria, who is charming, accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. Most of the food we had was street food and delicious. Don't be put off by the term street food; it was quite sophisticated and varied a great deal. One of our favorite eateries was a stand in one of the food markets where we had a... More

Aleyn made our trip to Puebla! She was an absolute delight -- took us to several excellent eating venues, explained all about the food, it's history, and it's importance to Puebla. Along the way she shared so much information about the city and its culture -- made us feel like we were getting to know Puebla with a good and... More

The tour is very very good and the guide is very talkative and explains everything: the city, the streets, the ingredients, the food, how it is made, how you can make it, personal experiences etc. The food is delicious, varied, showcase what pueblanfood is all about and its very safe. This one had the added plus of making it clearer... More

I snuck away from a conference to take this tour with Aleyn. It was my favorite afternoon of a four-day trip to Puebla. Tacos al pastor, cemitas, horchata, the street of candies -- mmm. It was also way more than just sampling food, because we walked through all sorts of beautiful neighborhoods I would never had found on my own.... More

Spent a great day with Maria who did a great job of guiding my family around the city and exposing us to foods (and a drink) that we otherwise wouldn't have tried. Stopping by some longstanding, family run places was exactly what we were hoping for. We've loved cemitas for a long time, and getting into the market to get... More

Just finished spending the day with Maria as we walked around the town and enjoyed many food stops! She is a wonderful guide and we truly felt comfortable in her very capable hands! We learned a lot about the local food! Be sure to arrive hungry! I highly recommend this tour!

My husband and I just took the Ouebla tour and really loved everything about it! The guides were wonderful, so engaging and informative. The food was delicious with a great variety of items. The cultural aspect of the tour was so very interesting, our favorite being the library but actually we rothoroughly enjoyed each stop. Although the tour lasted most... More

Recently a friend and I took the Taste of Puebla tour with Eat Mexico. We had an amazing tour guide Maria, who spoke English beautifully. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make our experience great. Maria took us to several local spots to taste specialties of the region. Everything was delicious, and Maria explained how the... More

We reserved "A Taste of Puebla" tour for our first full day in Puebla. It was a memorable experience and a wonderful way to begin our visit. Our guide, Aleyn, was great. She came prepared with bottled water for us, some hand sanitizer, and a knife to cut food items into smaller portions for sampling. Although the tour is food-centric,... More

Fellow Travelers! I had an afternoon to spare while in Mexico City. The day before, I emailed the folks at Eat Mexico and got an immediate response from Lydia. I wondered about joining in last minute on any of their tours and they said that I could. I was able to join the City Market Tour led by the delightful... More
