It's a simple ride back down from the cerro de la bufa, I don't know why the thing's even popular anyway, it seems to be a thing

A comfortable way to see the entire city of Zacatecas. Enjoy the beautiful views over the historic sites and neighborhoods.

We visited La Mina with the intention of riding the teleférico to La Bufa after the tour of the mine. This is no longer possible as the tram operation has been suspended indefinitely. Apparently, the Swiss-built, ski lodge style, two-person-per-car tram system built in the 1979, can no longer accommodate the daily tourist traffic. The government wants to update the... More

This is a must-do experience when traveling to Zacatecas. The views from the Teleferico and the top of La Bufa are worth the 50 pesos each way.... we went before noon and there were no lines, and an uncrowded ride.

A panoramic view of the city awaits which you can enjoy from a bar, or you can take a walkto Cerro de la Bufa.

The best way to get to the “Cerro de la Bufa” is by the Teleferico. The only drawback is that it only has two cars, one going up and one going down. Each car is for 14 people approximately so it can be a long wait before you ride it. The ride is fast but long enough to get a... More

Although quite expensive, it is worth it to travel across the city and then get a lovely view and a chance to walk around on the hill outside the city.

For all who have never taken one before: go there. If you have been to the Alps or in some US skiing area: skip it. Waiting times are long and the view is not very special

This is only 5-10 min ride but I think it is a must in visiting Zacatecas. It shows the views that could never be seen if you are on foot.

Only a 5 minute ride but good view of the city and easy way to get from La Bufa to the top entrance of Eden mine. No seating and very basic system Swiss made and looks to be well maintained
