For one who speaks only limited Spanish, I was still able to gain an appreciation of the history of this area. It would have been helpful if videos had subtitles, however the other displays were well done. The Huichol art was truly amazing.

The visit to the museum was interesting and I particularly enjoyed seeing all the early coins and notes. the only disappointing part for me was that they had fabulous video's of the history of Zacatecas but it was all in Spanish.

This was a good museum to visit to learn more about the history of Zacatecas. I especially enjoyed seeing the Huichol art as they use vibrant colors and beautiful patterns. Mostly we saw their "string art" and I was hoping to see more of their beaded art, but it was still worth going.

The Zacatecano Museum gives you a quick history of Zacatecas. They have a lot of info on the Huichol people. One of the museum employees suggested i watch one of the films they had to learn more about this group of people.

It has a bit of history, art, religious items and indigenous art. So, it's highly recommendable if you want a bit of everything. I really liked the part of huichol art, it's big and colorful. For children, there's also an interactive part that seems quite interesting.

It is a nice place to get an overview about the city and the state of Zacatecas. Good explanation about "Huicholes" (local indigenous group) and some important events in Zacatecas history. However, this place needs more objects and more information about the building itself.

Very educational and told with great detail by local tour guides. A must to see and then make sure to hit the tram that gives you an oversight of the city. That day the King of Spain came in, there were plenty of activities going on in the city and the view ......perfect

The collection of displays is a tribute to the region. I did not expect such comprehensive offerings that depict the heart and soul of the people of Zacatecas. The audio/visual information is very well done, but it is in Spanish only. The examples of Huichol culture and art is a remarkable tribute to the complexity and spirituality of the indigenous... Excellent presentation of art and history of the local area. Housed in the former mint, with description of how coins were minted in the 18th century to present day. Displays of Huichol art and culture, including the annual migration from Jalisco and Nayarit through Zacatecas to San Luis Potosí.
