Friendly people, not over burdened by people hawking goods while we had dinner. Prices were very good. Buy your Pesos before heading out.

The architecture is astounding. It's a joy to meander in the historic central neighborhood admiring Spanish colonial architecture that hS UNESCO World Heritage protection. The barrio is filled with cafes, restaurants, and bars. It's definitely not a museum. It's a dynamic and modern place

Amazing to walk all over it and to do some shopping WHY NOT! I recommend doing this from Monday to Thursday because there are no (what I call) people traffic and you can actually enjoy the Historical Center. It has a few hidden little parks...More

Take time to stroll, stop for coffee, beer or ice cream, peek into the many cathedrals (we saw 6 weddings on Saturday alone!), the shops, the outdoor cafes.
