Its definitely fun if you've never been four wheeling or drove one. However if your like me and come from riding county or country trails be prepared for not going over 10 miles an hours, smaller machines and breaking all the time. My guide liked to break or go extremely slow down which us fine for him but everyone behind him not so much. There is one place that over looks the trees and oceans that makes for an amazing picture opportunity.

Let me start by saying that on the tour was my 6 year old son and wife that never drove an ATV before. Our guides were so patient and helpful with them and made them feel safe while having a great time. They catered the path and where we went due to their skill level and they loved it. I would have enjoyed a full speed tour and went to a bunch of other places as others have gone, but my family could't have been happier so that made me happy. Saw a cave, orchids, creek, and a waterfall. Highly recommend.

We called several days in advance and set up an ATV tour for our last afternoon in Belize. We used our concierge to contact Belize ATV Jungle Tours and spoke directly to a representative of the company. We told him there would be four in our party and scheduled a tour for a date and time certain. On the day scheduled for the tour, we drove about 45 minutes from our rental house north of Placencia. We had problems locating the company because its only signage (a small vinyl sign in the right-of-way of the Hummingbird Highway) is damaged. So we called from Pomona and a representative of the company directed us to the Davis Falls Inn. We checked in at the front desk of the Inn and the attendant told us to wait for the tour company owner. About 20 minutes later the owner walked out of an adjacent home. He said that he had been out of town and his brother had handled our reservation. He was aware that we were scheduled to be taking a tour, but apparently he didn't think it was worth keeping an employee on duty. He explained that he was going to a relative's graduation that afternoon and a tour would not be available that day. He didn't offer any other explanation and he barely apologized. Also, inexplicably, he did not tell us when we called him from Pomona that no tours would be available that day. Instead, he made us show up at the INNand wait for him to appear. If you decide to use this company, I hope you have better luck than we did.

My husband and I went on the ATV tour with RJ at Davis Falls Inn, whose family has owned Davis Falls Inn for generations. We had such an amazing time! We got to ride through fruit orchards to a beautiful spot on North Stann Creek. Our only regret is not doing the longer tour, which takes you across North Stann Creek into the jungle to Davis Falls. RJ, Jim and Brendan (known by his close friends as Alex) treated us like gold! This was one of the highlights of our honeymoon (no, not just because it was little dirty!). Our next trip to Belize, we will definitely take the longer tour. Highly recommend and cannot say enough about these guys!

Cave Exploring: There is a beautiful, live cave (growing & sparkling stalactites & stalagmites) in Pomona, in the back part of a citrus field, that's lined with sugar cane. It is fun and exciting to explore with flash light, seeing stalactites & stalagmites, while learning about the beliefs & traditions the Mayan people held within & regarding the caves. There are a few bats, but they mind their business. There was some crawling / low areas, & hiking like actions (step up, down, over) around the space, that opened up into really large rooms at times. So wearing shoes with traction, ideally boots will be helpful & some old clothes. This was about an hour & 1/2 in my estimation. You definitely need to go with a guide. My guide was kind, patient, helpful & knowledgable. Mayflower Bocawina : Antelope Falls Hike - Belize ATV Jungle tour helped transport me to Bocawina. This was a fun, gradual slope hike under a canopy of palms, then increasingly steep, but support with some steps, & ropes to help pull you up, maybe a 45 minute hike total from the bottom to top... some ceiba trees, great view of the waterfall from below, but really worth going all the way up & swimming in the pool & appreciating the look out to the sea. Davis Falls : Lots of adventure here, getting through river passages, back to the area to begin the hike. The hike is a nice length, maybe 20 or so minutes, pretty flat, some areas go up & down, no big extremes, a few areas to balance over small water crossings, then the big reveal of the huge waterfall, several areas to swim, smooth rocks, cool water, refreshing, surrounded by jungle. Really amazing. Belize ATV Jungle Tours - staff is very helpful, down to earth, knowledgable
