A very beautiful beach, but it's really windy and cold on winter .. there is a pub besides the beach where you can rest and have a drink

A beatuful beach with lots of rocks for children to climb over. And sand to build castles. The sea was very calm and was shallow for quite a way which was great. When the tide came in it did come ALL the way. Leaving very little beach. It is a shame that you can not offically let the dogs of... More

Came down to Hope Cove twice during our visit to South Devon last week. Beautiful beach - they allow dogs on the beach from October to March - also, plenty of sand for the kids to build sandcastles & paddle in the water. Amazing place, looking forward to the return visit

Hope cove is the most Southerly part of Devon, the area has amazing scenery and extensive walking routes. For the children the cove was a big hit as it was very sheltered and the perfect spot for a picnic. I would liked to have stayed here to explore the area more... Next time!

we go here a lot as my wife's family live in Kingsbridge. There are several places to eat and a small art gallery. All of which are excellent. The only drawback can be the lack of parking in the summer. its a popular place :)

We visited Hope Cove whilst staying in Salcombe for a weekend in Feb. My partner used to holiday here as a child and wanted to return. We spent a few hours here and it was lovely walking along the beach and exploring. There is a pub and although we didn't eat the food looked lovely. Would definitely recommend a visit... More

Always a lovely walk through this quaint little hamlet to the beaches, which are immaculate and sheltered, lovely for lazy afternoons building sand castles and rock pooling. Post office provides excellent pasties and ice cream, there's loos and benches dotted about and direct access to the coastal path.
