Wonderful for walking or sunning, but disappointing for those who enjoy swimming/recreation on the water. Strong currents/rip-tides make the water dangerous.

My hotel was 2 bl from this beautiful stretch of beach. Perfect for walking at sunset. It can be hot during the day, so bring a hat or umbrella.

Even though the hotels and resorts of San Jose Del Cabo are some of the best in the entire region, the beaches in the immediate area are prone to treacherous rip-tides. Enjoy the views, but stay out of the water!!

Nice beach to walk on, but is is much too rough to swim. Not good for small children either because the surf is really rough.

Very nice long beach but you can't go swimming. The sea of Cortez is too dangerous in the area. While walking you will see a lot of rays jumping out of the water and a lot of sharks swimming near the chores. Occasionally, you will...More

Not much to do at beach - waves too dangerous for swimming, no paddleboarding, massages, restaurants, beach chairs for rent. It's nice for a long walk, but few access points due to all the hotels.

We've stayed in this area for many years. The soft smooth beaches are really nice and calm, and the warm water is extremely inviting. There are a few vendors walking along trying to earn a living (and I've bought a few things from them), but...More
