The look out to see the beaches is very accessable and the views of the beach and the board surfers is great. There are lots of rocks in the surfing area and I am sure that a lot of accidents occur here.

You can walk for miles along this very clean, very wide beach. It is easiest at low tide to walk by the water, walking higher up where the sand is loose is very hard work. There were no seashells or driftwood left by the tides,...More

I have been coming to this beach for over 10 years. Always a great experience and we usually walk twice daily. My suggestion is to check the tide schedule and always plan on walking at low tide. If you don't you will walk crooked for...More

This is a large beach, both in length and distance to the water. Due to the heavy undertow it is not a beach for water activities but plenty of space to sit or play on the sand. The sand is course and golden unlike beaches...More

The beach in front of all the large hotels, Grand Myan, Cabo Azul etc. Is a fabulous beach to walk. The sand is soft, you can walk forever. It's a great walk first thing in the morning before it gets hot. They don't reccommend swimming...More

Walking down the beach by all the hotels was really nice, especially during the late afternoon before the sun went down, it was beautiful. All the Hotels are lit up and look very nice.

Wonderful for walking or sunning, but disappointing for those who enjoy swimming/recreation on the water. Strong currents/rip-tides make the water dangerous.

Even though the hotels and resorts of San Jose Del Cabo are some of the best in the entire region, the beaches in the immediate area are prone to treacherous rip-tides. Enjoy the views, but stay out of the water!!

The undertow is very strong on these steep beaches and often swimming is prohibited: Black Flag Days.
