Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The very few people who should visit this place are cactus lovers. What a waste of admission fee!!!!

Rode bikes from El Ganzo to the gardens. There was so much beauty and interesting cactus to see. You could spend hours just enjoying the peace.

Nice cactus gardens and nature walk to the beach. I think there are bicycles to rent also. Over all a nice place to visit without a crowd and vendors trying to sell you stuff.

It is a nice place to have a walk and to see different Cactus species. Unfortunately, there is no indications about the plants (species, country of origin, etc.). They have only small cctus and not the big impressive ones that you can see in the desert just few kilometers away from the park. I found it quite expensive for what it offers, but off course I understand that to maintain such a place requires a lot of resources and money.

When you arrive you can view a nursery of cacti. This is followed by an average buffet of traditional Mexican food. The show is awesome - a combination of cirque de solei, fire dancers and Mexican legend. The price is a little steep, but the show is well worth the money.

I came here expecting to see a nice garden, but basically it was a waste of time. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We were let in on a asunday when they were actually closed by the security guard who said they were open, he took our money and proceed d tomtour us out to the statue gardens and explained the cacti growing on the property. Then when we headed over to the maze structures he told us no the tour was over. Upon questioning he admitted he lied and we should not have been there and returned our money once confronted about his dishonesty.

I thought there would be more cactus there. We didn’t stay for the night show, we did early morning, the walk led us to the dolphins and seal lions, the walk around the boats was great, and the art along the path was interesting.we even found a boat from our home town Nanaimo b.c Canada

This is just a cactus garden, and not much more. I'd expected something a little more than a bunch of cactuses spread out on 5 or 6 acres of land, but that's all it really was. Minimal printed information or educational material, and the employees know next to nothing. I understand that they have a cultural show every once in a while, but it's extremely expensive. Wirikuta has very little to offer, so skip it.

My hubby is into cacti so we took a trip here. We paid $8 each to get in but it was NOT worth it. Since the original owner left (a foreigner) it's gone downhill. The plants were in bad condition (too much light, too little water) and it was difficult to find your way around. It was a bit like being in a maze without a map. We found the sculpture garden which the guy raved about but the things were so spread out it was a trek between each one. None of them said what they were and they were all somewhat weird/strange. The only good thing was that after wandering around we arrived at a marina and found a great restaurant 'The Container' and ate lunch. It had a beautiful view, was peaceful and quiet and the food was excellent.
