Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Let me say first of all, that most of the vendors were very friendly, courteous, and honest. However, I did come across a vendor in the shop that sells Huichol art and silver fire opal jewelry. This vendor is dishonest and shady. So beware. I paid $100 for two Hiuchol animal art items (dolphin and sea shell), silver and opal earrings, and a couple Huichol egg ornaments. The employee wrapped the Huichol items but did not show me what he was wrapping. Long story short, I did not get the dolphin Huichol art, which probably was the most expensive. The picture is what I got for $100! He did not pack it with the other items and he gave me a fake receipt that was from a grocery store. Thanks lease beware, and if possible avoid these shady people!

Most of the stalls have the same items, so you can shop around for price or get everything you need at your first stop.

Indoor/outdoor set up. Most of the indoor portions have air conditioning.

It also has a bathroom.

Knick knacks and souvenirs galore. Family run tourist shops with plenty of options to help you buy the perfect trinket for the loved one at home. Liked the joking atmosphere of some of the shop owners(Cheapo Philipo) but you still get your “sales” atmosphere. Prices are negotiable but be respectful and polite.

This is our third trip to San Jose del Cabo. This shopping arcade opened after our first visit but we discovered it the last time we were here. There are a lot of tee shirts and souvenir trinkets, but you can also find a few nice things here and the prices are ok. Nothing is marked so you need to ask how much.
Everyone is nice but they all ask you into their shop. And everyone says “It’s almost free”.

This plaza is located on the way to downtown San Jose de Cabo but they are always so welcoming. There is not much traffic here and you can park right in front of the shops. As you make your way through the shopping area, the shop keepers welcome you everywhere. They always have a large selection of Alebrejes which I love and they are so willing to negotiate. Wide variety of products available.

...Is what you hear from the shop keepers as you walk along the lane ways in this shopping plaza. Everyone was friendly and tried to tell you that they had different things to sell you. But, in reality most of these shops carried the same stuff. The prices were good for the most part and we did buy, after a bit of 'haggling' fun, a few trinkets to take home including hand blown glass ornaments. Fun place but not crowded and easy walking from the Holiday Inn and other hotels in that area.

We walked here from the Hyatt Ziva, and it was fantastic! Just what we were looking for with regard to souvenirs - some traditional t-shirt type shops, but some actually fantastic artisan wares as well. We came away with some amazing Huichol bead art as well as some cheaper souvenir-type things. Try to find the seller near the center of the complex with the Huichol art and pottery next door. Definitely worth going to -

We stopped by this specific shopping area as a result of arriving here with our small tour group. this area had quite a few of shops that were open and very few customers that were moving throughout the area. It felt like we were prime shoppers and had the whole mall of stores for shopping to ourselves as we moved through each doorway...systematically buying souvenir trinkets for our family members back home. The shop owners were very friendly and most of them were able to speak English since most in the group had limited Spanish capability. most of the shop owners on this date, didn't bother to jack up the prices they gave a very fair price upon entry into the store.
