a very peaceful beach where you can spend some quality time with your partner or your family, don't forget to bring a towel to lay down on it and enjoy the sun!

At first I didn't find this beach that impressive but walking on the right side of the beach along the rock formations was very pretty (where the hotels have beds and such for their guests). No food is available. I didn't snorkel as it was windy and water looked choppy (in Feb). Plus I visited all the best beaches for snorkeling in Cabo and wasn't impressed with the snorkeling in any of them.

To get there, I took the purple Dusierto bus from downtown Cabo San Lucas (I asked the driver to let me know when we arrived). I took the bus back as well, smooth experience.

Catch the local Cabo Los Cabos (red, green, yellow) bus for 30 pesos from any bus stop along the highway heading towards Cabo San Lucas. Be explicit that you want to get dropped off at Palmilla. You will be dropped on the overpass that accesses these stunning properties. It’s an 800 m walk on a gorgeous promenade through manicured grounds abundant with a plethora of flora. The public beach entrance is to your left at the bottom of the hill. It seems to be the closest swimmable beach from San José del Cabo and certainly worth the 15-20 minute local bus ride. If you look to your left as you cross the overpass on your way to the beach you’ll see the return bus stop. Our return fare via the purple & yellow Ruta del Desierto bus was 14 pesos (local fare rather than the inflated 30 peso “gringo”price to get there). No hay problema! There’s a lifeguard and six available palapas on the beach. No restaurants were visible so bring your own food and drink. Enjoy this gorgeous beach and tamer waters.

Very nice beach, long stretches of sand, not gravel like most others, easy walking. Great for swimming as the waters are mostly quite calm. The public bathrooms were not operational when we were there, they had "por-a-poty" instead. Lots of parking spaces. Taxis on site. Go early as the locals pour in after school is out.

Excellent snorkeling. We went to Palmilla Beach to snorkel. We found a cove to the right side of the beach by the rocks. We had much privacy….and the snorkeling was exceptional!! We saw a large variety of tropical fish. I would rank this in my top five places I’ve ever snorkeled

Loved this beach, found it yesterday. Very clean. Not a lot of people, felt safe leaving stuff in beach while we bobbed in the ocean.

We really enjoyed our time here. It was just me and my 9 year old son this day so we packed a small Styrofoam cooler from the grocery store with drinks and sandwich stuff for an afternoon. No food or drinks for sale so bring your own stuff. We took uber out here and it was fairly easy. We went on a Tuesday so it was not too busy. They have umbrellas and chairs for rent from some very nice and helpful gentlemen. The fisherman come and go on the shore which was cool to watch, I think you can go out with them and they will filet your catch, but we did not do that. Definitely recommend for a family beach day. It's gorgeous.
