We frequent Cabo many times a year and this is my favorite beach. It goes on forever and you can swim there unlike most of Cabo. It's a hidden gem. Plan on bringing a picnic lunch and an umbrella as the palapas get snatched up early. You can rent paddle boards and kayaks here as well as small motor boats... More

This is a lovely spot. Quiet, sort of off the beaten path, good for swimming, just a vendor or two, boards and kayaks to rent and some palapas to find some shade under.

My husband and I spent a late morning and early afternoon on a Sunday at Playa Palmilla. It is a relatively small beach, clean and easily accessible from the highway. I recommend bringing a cooler with drinks and snacks, and to get there early. The space fills up quickly after 12:00 noon.

Thanks to our concierge from Cabo San Lucas Villas, we had an attendant set up umbrellas and a tent for us. He filled a cooler of adult beverages and sandwiches, then carried everything to the beach for us. He set us up in a private area of the beach where we had the entire place to ourselves. The sand, sun... More

Just up the Pacific Coast, between desert dunes and ocean rock formations, you can enjoy a magnificent sunrise on the Palmilla Beach, listening the waves spectacularly breaking along the shore with a powerful metallic sound, in a continuous eye-catching dance.

It is great during the week days when the locals are working, it gets a lot of people there during the weekends since this is one of the few beaches where the currents are not dangerous in the Cabo area.

A very wide multi-tiered white sand beach! It is very long > 3 miles bordered on the north by the San Jose del Cabo marina. Yesterday during a long walk, we saw a whale, a greenback turtle laying eggs and numerous birds. Don't miss the large freshwater lagoon toward the north end where there are numerous birds, including great blue... More

A stunningly beautiful beach, protected from the crashing surf by Punta Palmilla, perfect for swimming and relaxing with options for renting paddle boards, kayaks, and pangas. Perfect for a peaceful day with lifeguards on duty, showers, palapas, and no vendors! This is what relaxation is all about.

Reminds us of beaches in Hawaii. Excellent swimming beach with great sand. Not much for snorkelling but you can rent equipment and do some Stand Up Paddle-boarding.

We were staying in San Jose and took a cab to the beach for an afternoon. It was beautiful though the water as a little cold in February. There were quite a few fish though the water was rough when we were there so the visibility wasn't the best. There are several palapas for shade, but the bathrooms were still... More
