WOW! Simply breathtaking! This is a great spot to snorkel from the shore. We saw several fish right away and not far from the shore. It is also less busy than the other beaches. When we first arrived we set up near the far end and asked about umbrellas. We were informed that the bars and umbrellas were only for the resort guests. Luckily not long after the guys offering umbrellas to the public came. I believe it was only $10 US dollars, which is a steal for all day. This was the last beach we went to before heading home. What we found to be useful was to get a Styrofoam cooler upon arrival and bring water, beer, and snacks with us so we could stay. Most beaches we went to did not have anywhere to purchase drinks or food, so this was a must. We would eat breakfast then head to the beach. The Fresko supermarket was close to our hotel, and they had amazing tortillas and fresh guac, pico de gallo, and bean dip. We also stocked up on beer, coconut water, and sunscreen. They also have a great cafe where you can get coffee and a huge bakery selection for pastries and pan dulce! MMMMM. So good. Back to the beach...with it being a cove you could hang out in the water without hard waves coming at you. We thoroughly enjoyed walking up and down the beach, snorkeling, and relaxing in the water. You will want to bring beach shoes as it is more small rocks than fine sand. It wears on your feet after awhile. There is quite a walk from the parking lot/bathrooms to the beach, so go before you head down if you need to. Beach parking lot is free. Definitely make time for this stunning beach!…

One of the most relaxing spots in Cabo is also one othe easiest to miss, if you simply want a place to relax and appreciate the beauty of Cabo's oCEAN this is one of the tops spots to visit, the best thing about this beachs is that very few people know about its location (although it is very easy to get there), so it is a no-crowded place which is great specially now with the COVID times…

Very nice protected cove for swimming and snorkeling. The beaches all had yellow flags during the days we were visiting but Santa Maria was quite calm, especially at the far west end. Getting in/out where small waves were breaking was a little challenging but not too bad. The water in mid-October was beautifully warm. Only catch is if you don't like crowds/noise, you should get there really early and/or don't go on a weekend. The tour boats from Cabo bring tons of people and blast music. At one point there were eight boats in the small cove. We went on both a weekday and a weekend. On Thursday the boats started arriving around 11:00, but on Saturday was more like 9:30-10:00.…

You can either rent a tour boat to reach this beach or as we do, have our own transportation and drive there ourselves. Never disappoints!
