If you have the time and like a little adventure, make sure to book an ATV experience (4 wheeler) ride to the Lighthouse. A secluded little romantic place in the desert. If you are not in the romantic mood, this place has great dunes to ride on the ATV and great great drops to really accelerate that vehicle. At the very least, great place for some nice photographs.

We passed by this lighthouse several times while boating in Cabo. Located in Cabo Falso, 3 miles from Cabo San Lucas, this lighthouse can only be reached on horseback or in a 4x4 vehicle, which can easily be rented in downtown Cabo San Lucas. Built in 1890, the abandoned lighthouse signaled ships from 1895 to 1961.  Not much more than a base remains of this lighthouse, the original lens is now installed in a newer lighthouse higher on the beach. In its heyday it guided ships that sailed the seas around the world.  Today, only a skeleton is left resting on the sand dunes that surround it. Despite its apparent abandon, it is one of the main attractions in the area. The view is spectacular from 500 feet above water, it's surrounded by loose sand for at least a half mile. In addition to the lighthouse it also has the remains of a shipwreck below. Turtles use this beach to lay their eggs. It can be approached on foot, ATV or horse.  Go north of town on Highway 19; at Km 2, take a left turn on the dirt road that leads to Cabo Falso.
