We could drive to the site in comfort, and when there you feel the presence of those ancient worshippers who endured severe hardships to get there to spend time in worship and praise of their Superior Being. Truly awesome. Worth more than just a visit.

This is a historic ruined chapel which is approached by a very steep road down to the sea. It is next to a steep pebble beach with fascinating coastal rock forms. A short detour of the route to/from Malin Head

We visited and saw the ruin of the chapel and the cave with all the stones people placed for their departed loved ones. Also a great view on the beach, with at least 3 large vertical stones on the beach here. Worth a visit if...More

Fun little chapel on the beach. Worth the drive. Great place for a walk on the beach. Looks like a pilgramage destination for some people.

The sound of the waves on a wild day is great for mind and body. I want this place for myself - but maybe I could invite two more people - but only two! You know what they say, 'Three is a crowd'.

Spectacular location, we were here in January so the weather was pretty wild, which added to the location as the sea was just awesome to watch. Big waves crashing and that hypnotic sound that accompanies it. However, as an attraction... Not much to say as...More

Lush location, great stones on beach (I didn't take any, honest). Stumbled upon it whilst looking for pub.

Apart from " The wee house " there is a lovely rugged beach to explore. It was windy when we visited and the sea was mesmerising to watch. Definitely worth going on past the obvious for a walk and some beautiful scenery.
