The school was very well organized so you knew you were in good hands. I loved the kitchen and house where we were taught. The other eight people were very diversified from all over North America. Everyone participated and a group spirit prevailed. The choice of dishes were very new to me. I could not believe how tender the meat... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the food preparation, recipes and consumption! The mole is one I would definitely make - very subtle chocolate and cinnamon flavors. In fact, I'll probably make the entire meal again. The evening discussions went beyond food. Kris is well versed in the history of Mexican cuisine and, as a resident for 25 years, she is knowledgeable in... More

I really had a great experience! We cooked things I have never liked before and I loved then! It was hands on with a small group and Chris gave us history of the town, country, and the food.

Determined to take Mexican cooking classes, I signed up to take 2 based in reviews. Fun, learned a lot, enjoyed Kris, and made new friends. Food was simple, delicious, fresh. Hands on and free to ask questions. Husband went to 2nd one when we visited market, he liked class and loved it when I cooked at home!!

The evening was most informative historically speaking as well as delicious! Kris is a fabulous instructor/hostess. I wish we had gone earlier in our vacation because we learned of several activities from Kris and the other attendees that we would have liked to try if it had not been our last night in San Miguel. That being said, it was... More

Our group of 6 did a private Market Tour and Cooking Class with Kris Rudolph. We learned so much on the tour of the market - a visual and educational delight. Kris knows the vendors who shared some of their fruits for tasting and were most gracious. The market was followed by time spent in her home making and eating... More

Kris did a wonderful job of teaching us to make traditional Mexican foods. It was a hands on experience that we will not forget. Now I know how to make delicious chile rellenos! Within a week of our return home our daughter demonstrated what she learned and made a wonderful sponge cake.

Kris did a great job. She gave us so much more than recipes! We learned about the history of the regional cuisine and people. It was very comfortable for people with different levels of cooking experience and we enjoyed a great meal!
