Four of us were all signed up and excited to tour the pyramids with Albert Coffee who was one of the archeologists that worked the site. We and many others were at the Belles Artes and waited 1 hour... a no show on his part and no one to give us any more information. Perhaps better to go through the... More

Toured this site with Albert Coffee, an archaeologist who has worked on the excavation of this site for 16 years. He knows the history of the area, the peoples, the climate, the plants, the animals, in short everything. If you are going to tour this site, Highly recommended, do it with Albert.

Albert Coffee is a great guide who actually worked on the excavation. He is extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. The tour requires a hike of 1+ mile each way and climbing fairly steep steps at the pyramid. Well worth the effort of you're up to it. No crowds, no vendors, access closely controlled.
