This Church is beautiful, we thought it was a cathedral but after we read the inscriptions, we now know it's not. I would recommend to visit this pkace.

Somehow, someone had the not so brilliant idea of painting fake rocks/bricks inside this beautiful structure. It looks so out of place there. Keeping it natural would have been much better. It would also be nice if they fixed the bells, they sound terrible, probably cracked. Otherwise it is a beautiful building worth a walk downtown if you are already... More

This beautiful historic cathedral is a must see. The location is central to most SMA's evening celebrations. The sun sets and the cathedral is aglow with golden lights. But outside light doesn't compare to the inner beauty. My only regret is not locating candles to light.

Scenic Church which is interesting to see from many angles in San Miguel de Allende. I took a painting course and then tried painting a watercolor of the church on my own.

The outside is a bit reminiscent of Sagrada Família in Barcelona and architecturally stunning. We saw a couple of weddings here and they were indeed colorful and festive. A tour... More

Absolutely gorgeous chapel. Could have spent hours just wandering and looking at the statues, walls and ceilings. Must see if you're in the area. You hear the bells from the entire town.

La Parroquia is a beautifully conserved cathedral that is witness to all the important events in Mexican history. The weddings taking place there are extremely colourful with mariachis and parades in front of it. On weekends and on Mexican holidays, Mexicans from all over Mexico gather there to,celebrate. Of,course, the architecture outside is quite marvellous but a visit inside brings... More

The exterior is made of beautiful stone. Inside the frescos and religious iconography were stunning. Loved hearing about the history.
