Lovely plaza with some great architecture surrounding it. Many shops and restaurants at the plaza. Lots of vendors and activities around the plaza. Very picturesque area.

A lovely church to enter and see the incredible architecture work. Plan about 15 minutes to browse. Right off the centro of San Miguel and near good dining options.

We were in San Miguel for Dia de Muertos, and got to do down in the crypt, which was fascinating. We were told that it's only open this time of year.

Sitting in El Jardin and gazing at the Parroquia is a wonderful way to spend a morning or afternoon. It is beautiful and serene. There are nice bakeries nearby to get something to munch on while people watching. There is always something going on there.

Very nice church. Beautiful during the day and even more so during the night. Surrounded by some nice cafes, rooftops, bars, etc. The church is also beautiful inside and it is worth the visit

The cathedral is charming, constructed from local pink stone and is splendid when lit up at night. Entrance is free and the church marks the centre of the town and is a hub for festivities during the celebration for the Day of the Dead.

How many times do you get to see a pink cantera carved church with the spires that rresemble German Gothic cathedrals? Exactly. Go at night, hopefully after a wedding, hear the mariachi bands in front until you get fired up enough to hire them to...More

The crowd gathered in front of the Cathedral which is adjacent to the plaza/park. It is beautifully lighted in the evening. It is worth visiting, esp. at night.

are you talking about Leon, the city where there is the main airport? if yes, there is buses and shuttles to and from San Miguel to Leon. Very cheap!
