Great place to take pictures and unrivaled architecture. We really enjoyed the entire downtown area.

Beautiful from the outside. Inside is less than stellar, but still a must see if in San Miguel de Allende.

As with so many Colonial churches, this one is gorgeous with many fine details inside. But what I liked the best is the ability to wander in and out easily throughout our visit as well as the fact that the church is still an integral...More

San Miguel de Allende is lovely, safe, and bustling with activity. The Church, of course, is a gem in the center of the town and it is well worth the visit. Afterwards, walk around the square, visit with vendors, and have a bit to eat.

One can basically navigate the somewhat labyrinthine streets of the town using the landmark. Just about everything that occurs in San Miguel happens in front of this church.

Great architecture as we were leaving they were getting ready for a wedding. We stayed to listen to the music and watch the show.

Across from the main Centro (el Jardin) is this beautiful “parish” (parroquia) church. It is even more dramatic to view lit up at night

We drove last time. You may want to ask a local taxi driver from Moroleon to see how much they charge. I believe bus tickets are about 200 Pesos per person. It's less than 2 hours in a cab so you can negotiate a rate with a... More
