Natures always give us some surprises, this fallic stone formations were called "fallic valley" by the Tarahumaras (in their native language) , when Spanish arrived, the rename them as monk valley. here are also more interesting rock formations nearby.

The rock formations are very impressive. Two look amazingly like praying hands. It was fun walking through them, finding all different shapes and sizes with no explanation for why they are there.

Amazing rock formations. If you are in the area do not miss out. The size are unbelievable, you are able to hike around through them and see them from other angles. Highly recommended.

Amazing place to visit, it's hard to believe the shapes of the stones were not man made. Nature at it's best!

Rough road to get there but happy I did it. Unbelievable rock formations that change with the angle you view them from. Easy to get great photos from a mid point location.

When you see these stupendous rock formations, you will know why the original peoples practiced fertility rituals in this area. No picture can capture the grandness of this spot-do not miss it!
