We went there one Sunday whit kids aged between 5-11. It was a great sunny weather. There were music in every corner made by local musicians. It is a nice place to spend 2-3 hours. You can visit inside the houses to see how was life in the past centuries. They had also bbq and drinks. Also other traditional German... More

I live locally, and generally buy a season pass for the Schwabian Farm Museum in Illerbeuren. If you're only around for a short visit, the cost of single entry is incredibly cheap, and you could happily spend an afternoon there, if not longer. The small Woringer hause is the most charming house I have ever seen in a museum (though its history is a very sad one). It is not a huge museum, but it has such beautifull panoramic views.
