My husband and I took the ancient canals tour with Community Tours. Our guide, Javier , was excellent. This tour company is operated by a Mayan collective and we felt that the people involved and our guide Javier, were clearly impassioned about the area and...More

This tour was highly recommended by several people in Tulum and we were not disappointed. First of all, the Muyil ruins were such a nice contrast to the ruins in Tulum or Coba. Without the throngs of people, it was a peaceful, beautiful experience. After...More

Did this as a day trip from Akumal and the only downside was the transfer time as we were first pick up and last drop off, so maybe worth driving yourself to the start if you have a car. Relatively expensive but a full day...More

It's a great way to see the natural beauty of Mexico. Omar was our guide and was friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. Groups are small and as everyone comments the float at the end is really cool.
