Mayan guide Luis led us through an informative visit to the ruins at Coba and a nearby village complete with a welcome dip in a rustic and remote cenote. Whole experience was most enjoyable, Luis was warm and personable. Highly recommended, my 9 year old son was engaged all day.

We booked our trip through Thomson as it meant we were able to gain access to Coba early in the day, this definitely helped as we did not climb the pyramid in midday sun,Phew!!!! Our guide Roberto was brilliant very knowledgeable and engaging, made this a brilliant experience for us, visiting the village and restaurant was great and the cenote... More

Four of us booked this trip through Thomson and we were not disappointed. Our guide Ricardo was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. He guided us through the ruins and filled us with info which brought the place to life. We got a good feel for how it must have been. A swim in a sink hole and a visit to a... More

Small group with guides who are Myan. They truly wanted to share with us. Climbed the pyramid. Walked the site. Visited a true Myan village and spent time with the people and swan in a Cenote. All with the guides sharing there history and culture. One of the best tours we have ever been on.

This tour was booked through our Sunwing Vacation representative at our hotel. The hotel pick up was right on time, we were transferred shortly thereafter to another medium sized van with English speaking tourists (the majority of the passengers on the first bus were French speaking). I thought this was very considerate as it would be much easier for the tour... More

Everyone should understand that if you leave the beach, it will take a couple hours to get to these destinations. This tour is authentic! Our guide, Juan, is a university trained tour guide. His knowledge and passion for the Mayan culture was obvious. I learned a ton, puddled in a Cenote that we had to ourselves, visited a Mayan Village... More

While I echo everyone's positive reviews of the tour to Coba, keep in mind the closer to Cancun you are staying the longer you will be spending in the van going to and from Coba. We spent a couple of hours picking up and dropping off others at their hotels. The further south you are staying, the less inconvenient this... More

We booked the Coba Myan Treasures Tour with our holiday company (Thompson) before leaving the UK. We are very interested in history and were looking forward to learning something new. The day exceeded all expectations... Lewis was our guide (14.10.14) and he could have done no more to bring to bring the Mayan culture to life. His knowledge & passion... More

My husband and I went on the Mayan Treasures tour of Coba, San Juan Cenote, and a Mayan village. It was five-stars fantastic! While the touring van was uncomfortable, our guide, Ray, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. As a practicioner of the Mayan religion and traditions, he gave an excellent inside look into the Mayan way of life, from... More

I visited Coba pyramids, a Mayan village and a cenotte in a full day. Everything was awesome. Especially the guide (Louis) who was very knowledgeable and open to a lot of questions. Willing and happy to share his culture with us. Visit to the village seemed a little "staged" but still a great way to demonstrate ancestral culture. It is... More
