We always spend a majority of our time on Playa Norte. You can't ask for a better place to spend the day. We usually pack our cooler and have drinks in the water while hanging out. But, there is plenty else to do. There aren't many prettier places in the world.

Visited Isla Mujeres from Cancun and this is the only place to swim on the island. Even though there were quite of lot of people on the beach it is long enough to find lots of room. We stayed at Nauti Condos just 5 mins from here some years ago and loved the beach, condo and island.

This is a nice beach within a walking distance from the ferry station. We went there at the end of our day in the island to watch the sunset. The ocean was calm; the water was clear.

This is a great beach with kids. Ther are no big waves and the water is not very deep. Long ago a fisherman told me: that's where the finest sand is of the whole Island, and you can find seashells there that are marked with pink rays (sort of like a sunrise). You can walk way out into the clear... More

Most beautiful beach we have ever seen! Clear and calm and relaxing! Found this place by accident as we took the ferry over to Isla Mujeres during our stay in Cancun in August 2016. Returned in November 2016 and stayed there!

Great place to spend some time relaxing on the beach. Lots of different food and beverage places for refreshments.

This beach is much more appealing than the Centro beach closer to the Main Street. You can actually wade out a decent distance into the water. And watching the sunset here is a popular event. There were plenty people here during our day trip in mid November (low season) on a Friday, but I wouldn't call it crowded.

I seriously hope this little piece of paradise never changes in an ever changing world. We weren't there in peak season so didnt have to deal with any crowds. In fact I think it would have spoiled it for me a little bit. Water was crystal clear and just the right temperature to loll around in with a cold beverage... More
