They say it will be US$19 for a round trip but when they convert it to pesos it is waaaay more expensive. Very disappointed with the trip (just 22 minutes) and the price, but the island is beautiful! Don't waste your money in the boat terminals in the hotel zone, get the boat for 200 pesos at the main terminal.

We traveled with Samba out of Playa Tortugas in Cancun. The trip was incredibly worth it! The excursion staff are full of energy, drinks and jokes. You can't avoid fun on this day trip. We were with our teenage son and young adult daughters. There was something for everyone. During the snorkeling portion the staff was thoughtful enough to drop... More

My daughter and I recently took a day trip with Isla Mujeres Boats to snorkel with Whale Sharks and Manta Rays. To get to the feeding grounds where these majestic creatures are gorging on krill and plankton, the boat ride was about an hour and half. Once there, Luis, our wonderful guide, has the guests go in two or three... More

we took the all day caravan tour for snorkeling and parasailing. The tour guys were amazing! They made us feel very comfortable and secure. They were funny and entertaining. I'm so sorry I forgot their names as I really wanted to give them proper credit. They also took us into town in isla mujeres and that was really nice shopping.

Travelled over to the island in May 2014. We stayed in the Riu Palace Peninsula, so could walk to the ferry in a couple of minutes. In short, myself & girlfriend had a great day. We rented a golf cart, and just wondered around the entire island. It was nice to have the freedom to explore, meaning you could go... More

We took the bus to Playa Tortugas and then took the ferry to Isla. The last ferry back to Playa Tortugas is at 5:00. If you kiss this you have to go to Downtown Cancun which is 30 miles away and take the bus back to the hotel zone. We rented a golf cart but because we did not go... More

We enjoyed this trip to the island. The crew and guide were a fun and knowledgeable bunch of guys. On the island, we rented a golf cart and drove around, the scenery is gorgeous, but if you prefer to avoid the people and the shops, the beaches are beyond beautiful. We had a blast. At first it seemed like 4... More

This excursion was my favorite. We sailed to Isla Mujeres but not before some snorkeling action. Once on the island my husband and I went around the island on a golf cart. Not much to see but it was cool to get around the island. The boat offered free drinks, a lunch on the island and the snorkeling.

This tiny island offers great gastronomy, souvenirs and views. Rent a golf cart and drive around to make your own experience. Wonderful for the whole family!
