We had a great & educational tour with Mario, where he instructed us on how to make Mayan chocolate & chocolate margaritas- yummm! It was really interesting to learn about the history of chocolate and where the predominant production regions are today. Afterwards, we had some more chocolate cocktails made by Pedrito: a mudslide and chocolate piña colada- sooo good! We sat on swings at the bar :-) The gift shop is also really good and has a lot of good items including more alcohol, chocolate and handicrafts. Review of: Chocolate & Margarita Workshop
Amazing time. Starts with a tour around the grounds with introduction to Mayan culture. Then into the most lovely room where you make chocolate and Margaritas both excellent. Then end with shopping at the very moderately priced shop. Perfect! Beautiful green grounds.

Mario was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable admnd friendly. We really enjoyed learning the history behind Cacao along with other interesting historical facts. The chocolate was very delicious, we highly recommend this tour! 😊

Review of: Chocolate & Margarita Workshop
Mario was awesome. He taught us how to count in Mayan, he shared a lot about the Mayan culture and also different plants/seasonings. We great enjoyed our time then we sampled traditional tamales with mole (uh-mazing). In the kitchen we crushed cacao and made our own chocolate discs then we made chocolate margaritas (non-alcoholic) if preferred. Uh-mazing! Our last stop was the sample table in the store. We were treated to various tastes and gained an appreciation for the different combinations. …
