Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We rode the ATV to El Credral in Cozumel.
It was my first time driving an ATV but Francisco and Rene did I goo job of teaching me, and took care of me the whole way to make sure I was doing okay. They were very friendly and informative.
Book a tour with them you will not regret it!

To start out if you don't like to get dirty, this adventure is not for you. If you love the outdoors, the thrill of drive in the jungle and exploring unique natural areas this adventure is for you. The Xrails vehicles are very easy to drive. The trails are extremely bumpy which is very fun. You will drive over small and large rock areas as well as tree roots and water. Very dusty so make sure you wear a bandana over your mouth and nose. Once you reach the Jade Cavern the staff explain about this unique Cenote and then you make your way down to the cavern. Very beautiful jade colored water with stalagtites hanging above and a few bats hanging above. They take you to the end of the cavern where you jump in and swim under the formations. Next you have the opportunity to go into another cave for another experience. A few brave souls walked to the upper rim of the cavern and leaped in which was quite a rush. We left the caverns on the Xrails and after a short drive we made another stop at a spot where the Mayans sheltered from hurricanes. Make sure you put on bug spray before entering this area as the mosquitos loved us tourists. Didn't notice any bugs at the cavern. After a short stop we were back on the trail to the starting point. Outdoor showers are available to rinse off a layer of dirt before returning to the port. The staff was very nice and made our excursion a memorable experience.

No lie, you will get dirty on the XRAIL buggy excursion with Wild Tours! Our family loved every minute of it. We love doing action packed adventures with thrill involved. Our teenagers were both old enough to drive the rails (16 with drivers license) and my son made sure I was covered in mud from head to toe. We loved interacting with the wildlife, riding the trails, swimming with the bats in at Jade Cavern and the historical perspective on everything given to us by our most awesome guide PATO!!! You definitely want to wear clothes and shoes you don't care about ever getting clean again. If you don't mind getting dirty and like your adventures action packed, I highly recommend this attraction in Cozumel for some quality family bonding time.

We just went on this excursion on June 2nd and loved every minute of it! Roberto and Victor were our tour guides and they delivered on personality and knowledge. This is an extremely physical excursion and is not recommended for the weak at heart or physically weak. Be prepared to get very dirty and to have a blast. The ride is wild and bumpy and is probably not a good choice for anyone that is afraid to drive fast, run over large rocks and dodge trees!! It rained about 20 minutes in to our ride, which only made the day better. Make sure to get a locker and put dry, clean clothes to change in to once you are finished. Definitely buy the bandana that they sell at the location, this is a must for the dust that is stirred up on the ride. If they have goggles, wear them...sunglasses just do not do the job. I would recommend this excursion to anyone that is looking for a wild day out in the middle of nature...but be prepared for a bumpy, rough ride....but you will be smiling the whole time!! Thanks to Roberto and Victor for showing our whole family a great time, we hope to come back soon!

Went on the wild tour excursion...picked us up at Margaritaville in the early afternoon and took us out to the site. Got to play with a bunch of pretty neat animals (parrots, lizards, etc), and even got to hold an alligator - surprisingly cool actually. Went on a buggy ride to a little hidden pond - got to go swimming and then continue on to visit some old Mayan caves. Finally, after the whole trip was done, we got taken to Uvas beach where we ate some great guacamole and then went snorkeling.

Overall: a super day - was more fun than Cayman. Make sure to get out and explore.

Thanks very much for your review! I am glad that you had such a good time on the tour and that you enjoyed the animals. We like to be able to give people the chance to get to know and have a little bit of an experience with some exotic animals that they normally wouldn't get to see and touch. Thanks again and we hope to see you again! Saludos

Ages from 10-52 all enjoyed this excursion. It was very informative and fun. Do bring mosquito spray; this was the only port that we had any problems.

Thank to Mike for being a great guide!

We chose this excursion, as it came highly recommended by some friends! If you are one that is scared to ge dirty or do not like speed, this excursion is not for you. The ride was about 90 minutes long. You stop about half way at Jade cavern for a chance to clean off and a little break, then you begin your way back. Our guide Diego was fantastic! Ask for him, he will make your trip memorable. You should take a bandanna along to cover your face or they sell them for $2 usd. This excursion was a blast!

Extremely personable and humorous, you'd be lucky to have Carlos as your ATV tour guide- he'll do most of the talking and besmirch Pato's possibly-good name, and generally distract you from the fact that you're covered in dust and completely grimy. If you don't like dust...might not be the activity for you, but if you get going on the ATVs, you might not even notice the cloud you're flying through. (Sorry for the people at the back tho.) Get up to the front of that single-file ATV ride. Word to the wise. Also, bring gloves. It was fun enough that my group of 7 din mind the blisters, but i'll promise you, you'll have them... and won't care. Thanks, WT!

I did this attraction as a shore excursion from my cruise. The company gave us a taxi ride out to the area of the ATV riding and again back to the port. The ATV guides were very knowledge and nice. They took our group in a single file line through their trails that were very bumpy and dusty. It made the riding so much fun. The guides always made sure we were safe too. During the ride, we saw many exotic animals along with some Mayan history. The ride lasted about 90 minutes and we were completely dirty by the end of the ride. They have a place for you to rinse off and clean up too. Make sure you bring something to cover your face like a scarf while you ride. They also offer scarfs for sale for only $2. If you want pictures of your ride, bring your own camera but put it somewhere so it wont get full of dirt. They take pictures of you but each picture is $16!!
