My wife and I recently enjoyed a Royal Caribbean Cruise on the Harmony of the Seas Ship. One of the ports of call was Cozumel. While there, we were excited to visit some religious sites. We went into a Catholic Church. We then wanted to visit the Synagogue. We followed the signs to the Chabad Synagogue. Upon entering we were... More

We just returned from our second annual visit to Cozumel and we stayed for Shabbos (again) because there is a Shul!!! The Chabad house is centrally located right in town center square. There is a restaurant on premises (meat) with burgers, schnitzel etc. The Shlichim are warm and friendly and it has been delightful getting to know them better. Kosher... More

Kosher food, great company and all of our religious needs met in middle of nowhere. Came off of the cruise and Chabad took care of the rest.

I write this with mixed feelings. I believe the Chabad has come to Cozumel to tap into the energy of the Maya. This is my belief. I have yet to feel any truth in that belief. So it is strange for me to connect to the energy of my grandfathers (my Jewish Roots) when those that come to the Island... More

This is the fifth opt sixth time I have frequented this restaurant. Always authentic Mexican, good drinks, food and service. Not noisy or the tourists acting drink, just a nice peaceful meal with music.

The chabad is a $8 cab ride from the port and less then 10 minutes. The rabbi was wonderful and generous with his time. We took dinner to go and the food was excellent.

My wife and I were just coming back from a excursion and we saw a sign that said this way to the Synagog. So we eagerly went. What a nice surprise. The attendant was very nice and showed us around. I bought a shirts for keepsake and also made a donation for sedukah. We also took lots of pictures. Nice... More

The Chabad of Cozumel synagogue and welcome house was such a treat to find in the middle of Cozumel's shopping area! We were warmly welcomed, and shown the entire place, including prayer areas, books, teeshirts for sale, and the long dining tables where they feed people seeking a kosher meal for the Sabbath. A rare treat!!!!!!!!!! Go, and make a... More

The Rabbi at Chabad of Cozumel was so welcoming and made us feel like family. We shared "Jachnoon" with them which is a Yemenite food-very delicious, but the warmth and spirit of the Rabbi and others were the highlight. The best "excursion" we could have taken!
