We are snorkelers and it is a little deep to see sea life close up. But if you're a diver, this stop can't be missed.

You can access this reef from shore or take a boat. We found the shore access sufficient and enjoyed hours of snorkeling.

But it rocks every time! Do not fret if you have to go back. It's huge and there are so many different parts that it would take a 100 dives before you saw it all! And of course... it changes.....

Dove here as a beginner and saw lots of fish, but the highlight was the eagle ray that came to munch on some sand.

Great diving areas all over the island of Cozumel. Palancar reef was a little shallow dive but there was plenty to see. Lot's of turtles and other sea creatures. Amazing visibility on every dive.

Great place to scuba. All the reefs were beautiful and the ocean life was abundant. There are many dive companies to choose from and though there are many boats it all seemed very organized.

We use Chichicharters for our trips but we like to be alone. Almost all the resorts offer a charter just ask they when you arrive and tell them where you want to go. Or go to chichi Carter's web site
