lots of marine life

while not as abundant as Roatan, this reef has plenty to offer. Nurse sharks, eels, and fish. the day we dove was a slow current day so the drift was easy and relaxed.

Lots to see, pro dive best group to dive with. $$$. Boat picks up off peirs at many resorts including Allegro and Occidental grand. No tank problems this time but tank problems with Palancar divers a few years ago. Be careful.

I've dove many great places and Palancar ranks up there with the best. Dramatic coral canyons and caves.

Without question my favourite place to dive in the world!!! The coral pillars that stretch 70-80 feet high with beautiful swim throughs combined with the wide variety of marine life makes this an unforgettable diving experience not to be missed.

You can snorkel if you are a good swimmer cause waters might become rough after a while, it became choppy and we all got sea sick, be careful with waves. Enjoy and no need to pay for tours, they are all EXPENSIVE , you can do it on your own.

My husband dreamed of diving this reef for his 70th birthday! Aqua Safari helped make this dream a reality and he was NOT disappointed!

The beach area is very crowded and there are far more vendors than customers, so the pressure is high to buy. We inquired about a snorkeling excursion and found it to be quite expensive for 1.5 hours, and there was no discount offered for us as we had our own equipment. We decided to leave after an hour. We didn't... More

The day we went it was nice and quiet. The beach is small but has easy access to the water and the snorkeling was just ok. Entrance is free but in order to use the chairs and facilities you are strongly encouraged to order from the bar and restaurant...the food was actually really good as was the service so this...
