This is beautiful modern Catholic church in downtown. You would need a taxi driver to get to the church from the port.

This is not a Cathedral but a large Catholic parish church. We attended 10 am Mass; clearly a "children's Mass" with lots of attention to the younger people present. Lively music with most of the mass done in Spanish. One reading is in English but...More

It's very authentic and local. It's just a lovely spot to see. Especially if you're needing a break from the beach. If you want a true feel of local cozumel culture then stop by and check this gem out!!
