Not crowded

We went to La Isla for dinner recently. After dinner we decided to check out the stores in this mall. Lots of really high end shops in the front section. If you cross over the bridge there are a lot of smaller local stores. Interesting way to spend time just be sure to avoid the men who are trying to get your to listen to a timeshare pitch!

Nice but expensive
Nov 2021 • Couples
Outdoor mall. Has some pretty areas as your walking around but constant hassle to take trips as your walking round. These are spaced every couple of minutes.
Everything was over priced compared to the other times we have been to Mexico.

Great shopping | Delicious meals | Wonderful Activities

Have enjoyed this mall since it first opened. It's nice to see restaurant options, shopping and activities continue to expand. I found great deals buying gifts for family that was unable to travel with me along with enjoying a great dinner and authentic gelato.

Nice little shopping centre

Nice little shopping village with shops for clothing, jewellery etc.
We went there to look for flip flops and we found them after getting ice cream from aldos which was excellent. At Liverpool, the staff were friendly and helpful, however there are no bags with handles which obviously isn’t helpful. There are also people trying to sell you stuff literally everywhere, so just don’t get sucked in or else you’ll be in a never ending whirlwind of getting distracted.

It's ok

It wasn't as bad as some have said. Everywhere we went had AC and we didn't hound by people selling tours that much. Prices are pretty steep, so unless you're looking for souvenirs or absolutely need something, then you can pass on this.

Bad Customer service
Sep 2021 • Family
I visited the Starbucks at La Isla shopping center. I order a tall Mexican chocolate Frappachino. I told her poquito for favor plus no whipped cream. She charged me extra for whipped cream plus a shot of espresso. Which I do not understand as I wanted very little coffee in the drink.

Tons of stores. Very disjointed and confusing.

Maps/directories are not accurate. Mall is broken into several sections. Prices are higher than at the same stores in U.S. malls. Why bother? Shop at smaller stores for authentic Mexican items.

Ferris wheel very nice at night, when it's lighted.

I would rate this place as one of the most uncomfortable shopping destinations I’ve ever visited. It’s hot as can be and you still have to wear a mask everywhere in the mall. Most shops have someone taking your temperature and making you use hand sanitizer. I went into Bath and Body Works and they had several employees pushing the products and they followed you around the store like they were waiting for you to steal something. No one spoke English so I’m not sure how them telling me about the deals made any sense at all. Then we went to Sephora and it was the same thing. I felt so uncomfortable shopping and having people follow me down every isle just watching me. Then I bought a few items and it took them 20 minutes to try and figure out how much change I should receive. Several of the stores in the higher end area had armed guards and it just felt so odd and unpleasant shopping. There were also people on every corner asking me if I wanted to buy an excursion. Many of the shops had no AC. Maybe it’s just me but the pushy sales tactics they use here are so unappealing.

Nice but expensive and hot!

We took a taxi to the La Isla Mall for a day away from the resort. At first glance, the mall and shopping areas are very modern and house some of the best in class retail stores; however, many of them do not have air conditioning, and you swelter inside their stores while trying to shop. On particular retail store we visited (that is very well known at any mall in America) was so hot in there that I put back what I was going to buy not to have to wait in an oven. Premium store with premium clothes and no A/C. WTF??? Also, the prices are equal to or even higher than the same stores in the US, so there is no advantage whatsoever.

It may be nice to walk around, but in the end, we were very disappointed. Other than a few authentic Mexican shops, it's basically like shopping in any modern US mall with the same or higher prices minus the A/C.
