If you find 5th in Playa Del Carmen too much for you, to loud and too busy, then yiu will like Tulum town! Visit before it becomes too crowded, it is booming and will not remain as is for very long. Plenty of independent hotels...More

Well to start, our excitement was they were doing a movie which was fun to watch. The exploring was fun but take lots of water as it does get hot. The sites are awesome and educational.

Tulum Avenue is at the entrance of Cancun's downtown. There you can find money exchange kiosks with good exchanging rates, three big supermarkets, and a couple of bars and discos.

Busy street. Lots of buses. Many businesses along the way, including good choice of restaurants, some with large outside sitting areas.

Went to tulum temple. Nice as it was by the ocean. Ocean breeze was lovely with the hot weather. There’s a market place nearby with lots of shops to buy souvenirs.

There are hotels and restaurants lined along the street. Just a few steps from the beach, but there are not many places with free access to the beach..Living here is more expensive than in town
