Safe and well patrolled. The north end is usually busy it's traffic. The restaurant selection is great and they have center dividers that allow motorists the option to make u-turns throughout the highway.

You can find pretty much everything here. Very Americanized, so if you don't want to feel like you're in another country stay here... (honestly, what's the point of that???)

If you are staying in the hotel zone in Cancun, it is possible to walk to many places. Avenida Kukulkan is the main road and has sidewalks on both sides - we suggest following the shaded side! See things differently when you walk it.

I'm giving this location a 2 star because this is not a place for families, this is night live location and very noisy. If you are looking to relax and do some tours and want beach access you are better off staying at a resort....More
