This was my second time on a Catamaran type of boat. My first time was in Dominica, Caribbean with the Anchorage Hotel & Dive Center. I went with a group of 4 women in our 20s, including myself. We were originally going to book this through a different company, however, our hotel (Sina Suites) offered us a discount for $77... More

The atmosphere on board is good, we really liked that...but it was not what we really expected....Sodas are poor quality, I do not get that....I know everything is a business but If you pay an expensive ticket you deserve better, oh well, they take you to their restaurant where the food again is poor quality...we do not ask for lobster... Before you spend your money on this, make sure you know what you're getting into. You leave from a very crowded dock at Playa Tortugas. Before you even get on the boat, you're scammed into buying expensive SPF 25 sunscreen that is "safe for the corral." We departed about 9:30 in the morning. We were on a decrepit old catamaran... We really appreciate your feedback that help us to improve the quality of our services. As we have mentioned before, the people selling sunscreen at the dock has no relation whatsoever with SAMBA and, of course, you are free to deny buying any product from them. Guests can bring their sunscreen, although we suggest use of biodegradable products to protect... More

What a great day trip! From Cancun's Playa Tortuga where the dock is located, we headed via the Samba II to Ilsa Mujeres. We stopped along the way to see a small Nurse Shark, then Snorkeling , and after that headed to shop around the island's " down town" for about 90 minutes...We then headed back to the beach club... We booked this day trip through our resort for $89/person. It was all inclusive for drinks and food. The crew was efficient, professional and entertaining. There was 3 stops: 1. to see and hold a nurse shark and snokeling 2. downtown Isla Mujeres-lots of shopping and eating places; 3. Isla Mujeres Beach with buffet and drinks.

My group reserved a private catamaran tour to Isla Mujeres from Cancun. The pricing was fair and the office was very responsive to my emails. Our transportation arrived on time and we had no issues getting to the pier. We were told the catamaran had a capacity of 20, but it was perfect for our group of 13. Very clean... More

We booked a trip to Isla Mujeres with our hotel agency, when we arrived to the port the guy from samba recommended us to go another day due to bad weather, our reservation was changed to tuesday. After he asked for our coupon (and kept it) and checked our names, he told us to go straight where you pay the... More

That was really lame, regret going. The weather was rough, there were no snorkeling nor parasailing, that we were not told about ahead of time. Only basic information was coming out from the crew in English, so if you have no Spanish, it's your loss. The trip itself was wery long, too long, was very windy, big waves and its... More

We appreciate your time to post your comments about your experience which gives us the opportunity to clarifify a few points. It seems that you took the tour on a windy day and, unfortunately, some activities can be cancelled to keep our customers safe. Before boarding, our staff at the box office (check-in) and our crew (boarding) informs our guests... More
