Beautiful, crystal clear waters. Green plants on submerged rocks make for stunning beauty, and fish. Overhanging cliff has mats marking safe place to jump. Wonderful place to swim, snorkel, or scuba. Follow the rules - NO sunscreen or sunblock. That damages the cenote. Long, hot walk - worth getting a ride or taxi. One room restroom for each gender not... More

What is depicted in the photographs which accompany this list is NOT el Eden. It's Chichen Itza, the hybrid Maya/ Toltec archeological site near Valladolid.

The picture is of chichzen itza not this attraction. There is an error for some reason. The photo should be changed. Sorry I have not been there but know the photo is not correct

Cenote El Eden, a half hour south of Playa del Carmen offers a variety of in water and on land experiences an easy walk from the highway (think bus) with a reasonable entrance fee. It is one of my favorite cave dives, and is often used for cave dive training. It offers one long tube between 15 and 50 feet... More
