Playa Delfines is located on the hotel zone. Visited this beach on a very hot day. The Cancun sign is a really good photo opportunity and there was a long line to do this. The water was a gorgeous turquoise colour and the sand was...More

Views are great and Cancun sign located here but the beach area in general is not looked after very well and in disrepair. Lots of wedding photo shoots here daily.

The best beach on the strip! My last day in Cancun I “beach hopped” by bus (which only costs about $1 US to get on btw) All of the beaches are awesome but this was the best. Tip... rent a chair & have cocktails brought...More

In my opinion this is the most famous beach in Cancun. There is everything for a comfortable rest: sun beds, umbrellas, showers, toilets. Nearby there is a bus stop. But it's a long way from the city center. The best place to meet the sunrise.

This beach is amazingly beautiful and the area very serene. There were a lot of iguanas along the wall and upper part of the sand. They are interesting to watch and can move very quickly. It was not crowded at all on a Friday afternoon...More

This is a beautiful, clean and peaceful beach. Great for a picnic filled day. We look forward to many happy returns. Weekdays are not crowded at all. Not commercial, no food places on the beach, loud bands~just quiet, but fun and serene.

Very busy, especially with the locals. This seemed to be the case on most days. We did see the turtle egg conservation areas here though, which was lovely! Lots of eggs in the sand waiting to hatch & go in the ocean. Carole : )

it's very closed. The Dolphin beach is into the hotel zone to 15 min of airport. I recommend "Isla Mujeres" that is in front to Cancun.

It's a very nice place to swim. Most locals and lots of out of towners go there because of the great beach. Many of the locals selling trinkets and jet ski type of activities. BUT! To answer if it's safe, I would say yes, if... More

Yes, like the previous answers. It's a public bathroom like we have in the states. Think about going to a public park at home and wanting to use that bathroom to freshen up in. The floors get grungy at the end of the day, no... More
