Being from Humboldt County, California, and having worked at Humboldt State University, I am always interested in everything "Humboldt." This is a lovely old colonial home, filled with church and period items. Worth a visit.

it is a small museum but has excellent pieces of art but the best of all are the explanations of the guides. I got a older gentleman who would tell you a lot of history about the house and taxco. don't miss it.

The shadowing museum is an approach to history, with the Mexican people confronted by Spanish "education" meaning colonization for the sake of the Spanish crown. Pictures, imagination, not too much for the hurrying visitor who is escaping the hot Mexican sun of the late morning.

beautiful colonial home with a great exhibit of church and personal items from the period. A great surprise to see the plaque noting that my good and missed friend Alexander Von Wuttenau restored the building after an earthquake
