We took the time to enjoy a free history tour and although I'm not religious I enjoyed the honest information. This particular church has some unique history as well.

Wonderful cathedral with an important role in the history of the town. There are official tour guides that give a short tour for a small fee. A must see.

It is situated in the main square, it is a very beautiful baroque style cathedral. It is a catholic temple made of quarry stone (cantera) which is a pink stone extracted from mines in Mexico.
