This cathedral easily rivals or surpasses the elaborate beauty of any of the cathedrals in Europe. Definitely worth seeing!!

Great example of a very ornate church in downtown Oaxaca. We saw an outdoor Rosary service one evening and then went back to see the impressive interior during the day. Centrally located, with excellent walkable sites near by.

The best guide ever is Omar Lescas Diaz. His English is wonderful and he knows "all" the history of the area. It may not be worth his while to do one building like this. He is excellent for Monte Alban and the natural tour... More
