OMG, you can't leave Mexico City without experiencing Lucha Libre! No excuses -- many travel operators package the experience for you, including transportation and food. I went with a Mexican friend. Not sure I would have braved it solo -- and, indeed, the experience is...More

Anyone from any walk of life must see the lucha libre if ever in Cdmx. Beer and food at every corner and perfect views from anywhere. Very entertaining and be sure to get a mask!

The Lucha Libre at Arena Mexico is a great laugh and a fun way to spend a Friday night. No need to buy tickets in advance, ignore the ticket touts and just go to the windows selling them next to the main entrance. Slightly confusing...More

I'd never watched wrestling before. But I heard this was a must-do in Mexico City, so bought some cheap seats for the experience. We bought tickets from Ticketmaster at one if their outlets (see below regarding finding an outlet). I noticed the tickets online were...More

In Arena Mexico you can see the wrestling stars in Mexico. The show is OK. The chairs are very old and VERY expensive beer.

We had great fun and it was a really entertaining show. A bit chaotic getting in. Don't buy tickets from random dudes out the front. Taxi in and out, the area is not nice.

By far, going to a lucha libre show was the most fun thing and my most favorite experience in Mexico City! Yes, Mexico City has great art and food, but this was such an awesome experience! I highly recommend it! It was not hard to...More

This was probably... no it was the best I experienced in Mexico city. The excitement of the pre-show, before every wrestler comes out. The excitement of the Mexican fans, is contagious. You will find yourself cheering for the Tecnicos, or Rudos (Good guys or bad...More

Must see in Mexico City. We paid ~$2.50 USD to sit in the "gradas" general admission section. Loved every bit of it. Plenty of options to sit closer to the ring if that's more your style, but the "gradas" experience was fantastic. Tickets can be...More

As others have said, getting a ticket (if not Spanish speaking) is a little tricky - go to the window outside the arena and there’s about 1cm space below some very frosted glass. We used this to pass a written down note on what tickets...More

If you are driving, I will sugest to arrive 30 to 40 min early so you can find parking. If you are arriving by Taxi or another type of ride, I suggest about 20 to 30 before the event. Finding your seats here can be kind... More

The arena is not huge, so most seats will still give you a good view.

It’s about 2 1/2 hours of a very entertaining show. You can buy the candy and the peanuts outside or they sell sodas, beer, sandwich, chips and candy as welll. Enjoy the Lucha Libre. We did!!!!
