Great viewings of Frida’s painting, and you will learn about her life (which is quite sad). Easy to navigate through, not too big. Walking distance to the local market, you could add that to your visit.

Oh i was dreaming to visit this place for long time. I love all her art works and building was really fine blue than i imagined. It's very reasonably priced and everything was well kept. Fantastic and must visit in Mexico city.

I loved how well the museum is and to be able to see all the art, the colors, the memories and the objects Frida and Diego left behind.

A very popular museum. Recommend getting tickets in advance as these enable you to enter at a specific time. Otherwise it is queuing. The tour through the residence is pretty busy and only half an hour is allotted to move through the house. The rest...More

I am a Frida's fan and loved it! The area is also very nice, also Coyoacan Market. Try tostadas there. They are delicious.

I actually had the same question and situation. We got there at 5:05 and got the audio guides and were able to see the entire house and garden until 6pm. I believe they just don’t let people enter after 5:30pm.
