This picturesque alley is so named because it is narrow enough for two lovers to kiss from opposite sides of the street.

Ok, this is just a simple alley inside this beautiful city, but, the legend around it has become a big, big tradition for the locals and everybody who visits it. The legend talks about two lovers who couldn't stay together and end up losing their lives (to sum up). Now, every couple who goes there has to kiss there to... More

Guanajuato has so many tourist features and this small Alley of the Kiss, Callejon del Beso, is really a tourist feature, but unlike Rome´s Trevi Fountain, this is a small out of the way alley that promises fifteen years of continued love to the person you kiss while in the confines of this alley. Of course there is the legend... More

walk up, see the horde of people, avoid the guys trying to sell you this and that, take a quick picture, take off Unless you're dying to get a picture up in the alley or on the balcony, I wouldn't really mark this as a must visit place. At least it's not too far off the main road, so it... More

We first found it whilst wandering on the streets at midnight. It was so full that you couldn't even breathe, and night or day couples line up (don't underestimate the queues) to take a photo under the famous balconies.

Get ready for lots of walking, but worth it. At night they have the servantino which entertains you and they take you on a wild walking ride! Be ready to sing and understand their stories in Spanish, wish there was one in English so my in-law could understand!

The Guanajuato city’s legend is very romantic and very sad...listening I could associate it with the story about Romeo and Juliet. Of course, every place has its history and this one true or just invented became an attractive tell and the excuse for young people to go there and kiss their beloved. Some reviewers mentioned that the place is terrible,... More

It's worth coming with a Estudiantina during a callejoneada. Otherwise you might be somewhat disappointed of how dirty and small it is. It's necessary to know the story through a Estudiantina that you can start in from of the San Diego Church.

A lovely spot for a smooch and a photo. We went at 9am and there was no queue. A man there to take photos for you for a small fee if you need it. If you go late afternoon expect to wait your turn.
