I really loved to go for a walk at Glorieta Chapalita every weekend while living in Zapopan. You can find artists showing their paintings as well as people walking and selling dogs. If you are lucky, you might witness orchestral music performing popular performances like Star Wars music or classic music to enhance your day.

nice place to walk, have a snack, take a look at some unsual or very commercial art, sometimes it seems like its a pet contest, its got a nice fountain, and benches to sit on, just to relax, no access fee, you can bring your pets, there are some for sale there, please don't, pet's shouldn't be a bussiness.

Beautiful park that is one of three near the Dickinson Guest House. It has an art show and sale on Sunday for a great time. It is surrounded with restaurants of all kinds from inexpensive to quite elegant.

This is a charming little park in an upscale area of west Guadalajara. There are dozens of great restaurants and cafes within blocks, and an outdoor artists showing on the glorieta itself every Sunday. It's not on most tourist itineraries, and many locals hope to keep it that way. Follow along on my walking tour here: http://antoniorambles.com/2013/02/03/chapalitas-glorious-glorieta/

It gave us a real feel for this great neighborhood of Chapalita. The people were all friendly as we were meeting new ones at every turn. It is a centerpiece of the area with the view of all of the new high end hotels that surround it. There are many, many, places to eat around here, from $ to $$$.... More
