Classic Mexico

This is what the foreigner expects Mexico to be, a full square of tequila bars and lots of traditional food, only modified by the addition of hot wings pubs near the square

Horrible experience! The food was not very good, but we were a large family so we spent a lot on food & drinks. After the waiter placed a drink on the edge of the table & it was elbowed off accidentally, they charged us for it. They told us that it was too bad for us, but we had to... More

I get that this is a "must eat" place in Tlaquepaque..but it wasnt worthy... The Parian has about 6 different restaurants that circle a kiosk in the center, where you can see and hear the best mariachi music, regional Mexican dances and aztec dances too... That was very good, great costumes, singers and choreography... The problem is that if you... More

I have visited this place several times since my childhood and many things have changed for worse. Now all the restaurants ask you for a minimum liquor consumption limit or only expensive dishes of their menu if you want to seat on on their area. That would be Ok if you were not forced to drink only the cazuelas which... More

The Parian in the tourist centro of Tlaquepaque may contain a few nice restaurants but Beto's is not one of them. We didn't expect high cuisine but we did expect a decent basic meal. Big disappointment! All we had was lackluster, including a torta made with a less than fresh bolillo, warmish pasty beans that had a dried out surface... More

Had dinner with my family here at this restaurant. Great service and the local Mariachis, were equally amazing. Great way to experience the culture.

It is a must see place in Tlaquepaque. Very typical, you can see that mexicans really go there to watch the mariachis and eat typical food, it is not a place for tourists only. Beautiful building, with many options of restaurants to eat. And it is really great to seat, eat and drink while you see the mariachis playing.

This place is widely-known and a very good tourist attraction. If you're looking for a taste of local culture, mariachi music, tequila and cazuelas, this is the place for you. If you want good food at good prices, then look elsewhere.

This is a huge place to have some tequilas. It's called Mexico's biggest cantina! I do recommend to have some mexican tapas while you enjoy the Mariachi drinking Tequila. They also have the famous cantaritos. Catarito is a mix of different citric juices and tequila, a must have in summer!

If you like Mariachi music then this is your place because Mariachi groups play here back to back for hours. One huge draw back is the quality of their restrooms, which aren't all that great. I understand that alot of people utilize these restrooms. This place makes alot of money for the surrounding restaurants yet cannot seem to keep their... More
