The Degollado is a beautiful building inside and outside where I have seen opera, symphony, Shakespearean plays and more. I highly recommend going here while you are in downtown Guadalajara; it's one of our little gems.

Everyone told me to tour this beautiful Roman architectural building. Unfortunately, on the day we visited, we could only walk into the lobby. There was a cultural show going on to celebrate the Mexican Constitution Day. The lobby is GORGEOUS - which made me even more sad to miss the tour. I want to return to take the tour and... More

The Teatro can be visited during the day to see Suarez's Mural of the Divine Comedy. The structure was built in 1886 and looks like a Roman Temple from the outside. Inside, is a beautiful theater which still has performances. So if you are into the murals as well as Architecture it is worth the visit., The inside will remind you... More

Teatro Degollado resembles ancient Roman architecture classic buildings. Neoclassical Mexican theater known for its diverse performances and artistic design. It is located in the central plaza of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico on Belen Street between Hidalgo Avenue and Morelos Avenue. Beautiful place to visit.

This is an iconic city's site. It houses many cultural activities during the year. Even if one does not have the time to attend to one of those cultural events a look from the outside shows the beauty of this place. There's a beautiful café just outside the building serving deli products, desserts, and hot drinks A nice experience for... More

The theater is open during the day for self guided tours and picture-taking. I would have loved to see a show, but none were scheduled during our trip. Definitely a must-see.

Just in the same area with the Cathedral on the opposite site. It looks stunning at day and night. All 4 sides of this building are brilliant with the design.
